The DropDx-2000 Droplet Digital PCR System harnesses advanced microfluidics to generate ~20,000 nanoliter droplets per sample. Each droplet contains zero or one target molecule; after amplification, fluorescence is measured, and target concentration is calculated using Poisson statistics. This powerful system makes high-resolution quantification accessible for every lab.

Ideal for tumor biomarker research, copy number variation, pathogen detection, GMO analysis, mRNA/miRNA quantification, rare variant detection, NGS reference QC, and gene-editing validation.

Droplet Generation Unit

The SG-2000 PCR Amplifying Apparatus uses patented microfluidic and reagent technologies to rapidly generate uniform droplets. Fully automated with one-button operation, it integrates advanced temperature control and the RainSure thermal management system to deliver fast, precise nucleic acid amplification.

Droplet Scanner

The cartridge scanner features a high-precision optical system that rapidly and accurately captures fluorescence from each droplet. Advanced imaging software then distinguishes positive and negative droplets to calculate absolute target concentration using Poisson statistics. The biochip scanner is available in 3-, 4-, and 5-color configurations.

Droplet Generation Unit

It combines a high-precision, pressure-controlled microfluidic system with a dedicated cartridge to rapidly and consistently generate uniform microemulsion droplets. The system produces 20,000 droplets in just 70 seconds with excellent stability and durability, ensuring:

  • Uniform droplet size (CV ≤ 3%)
  • Adjustable diameter from 70–110 µm to meet user needs

An innovative flat-surface heating design enables rapid temperature changes, achieving heating rates up to 10 °C/s and cooling rates up to 6 °C/s, completing 40 PCR cycles within 90 minutes.

Droplet Scanner

The industry-leading multi-fluorescence channel design expands the capabilities of the digital PCR system, enabling simultaneous detection of multiple targets and acquisition of rich fluorescence signals. It also features a fast, fully integrated image analysis system for streamlined data processing.
